(www.scionstaffing.com), a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct the search for a Speech Language Pathology Supervisor for our nonprofit client, a beautiful speech and occupational therapy clinic based in Lakewood, WA. Our client focuses on pediatric skills development in multiple areas including speech and language, cognition, focus/attention, self-regulation and self-care, all while infusing play throughout all aspects of a child’s therapy experience. With 350 patients and over 30 employees, the mission of the clinic is to create a place where therapists of different specializations can collaborate to provide comprehensive care to a child and their family.

Position Overview:

Serving as the department head, this new role will guide and lead a growing team of 10 Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Assistants (SLPA) in providing top notch counseling and consultations for the clinic’s patients. This role will also partner with leadership to ensure alignment of the clinic’s vision and goals across all department operations, as well as on future planning and growth goals. This role is primarily focused on administration and leadership while managing a minor caseload of clients.

What You Bring:

We are seeking candidates with 4+ years’ experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist and 2+ years’ experience managing other SLPs/SLPAs and who possess a:

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology
• WA State Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
