Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for an immediate contract to hire Payroll Specialist for our client, a service disabled Veteran owned small business in beautiful Moriches, New York!

PERKS

  • Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM with flexibility of hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage full cycle payroll including maintaining related records, as required.
  • Reconcile & process time-sheet corrections, as required.
  • Maintain and update payroll related procedures and documents.
  • Work closely with staff to ensure payroll is properly set up and maintained .
     
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 years prior experience with payroll processing.
  • Knowledgeable with Quickbooks and Paychex
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and function independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of discretion and excellent judgment.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, databases, etc.).
     
COMPENSATION:
This role offers immediate employment at a competitive pay rate of up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience level! Aside from the opportunity to work with a truly amazing company and positive team,
