Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) is conducting the search for a Registered Nurse Manager on behalf of our established and highly respected client. This full-time position is for immediate hire and operates from our client’s location in Avondale, NJ.

Position Summary:

A multi-state dermatology practice, our client offers a unique multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating clinical expertise and state-of-the-art technology with individualized patient care. Their team of medical providers and dedicated support staff offer comprehensive solutions for both clinical and cosmetic dermatology issues. 

The Registered Nurse Manager champions the medical portion of administration to increase operational efficiency. This role plays a prominent role in ensuring certain patient treatments are complying with internal policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements. The Registered Nurse Manager oversees the general management of clinical staff including training and performance monitoring of clinical performance, and orientation, at our client’s northern New Jersey location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements patient satisfaction, efficiency, infection control and quality assurance initiatives to improve the patient experience.
  • Mentors and coaches a team of seven individuals, ensuring clinical competencies of the non-physician staff are to standard through a periodic assessment process, including direct observation.
  • Designs, implements, and evaluates training and educational programs for non-physician clinical staff.
  • Manages others: Trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively. Defines, delegates, and directs work. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
  • Tracks staff resource utilization: Arranges work schedules as necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels and patients are scheduled to meet productivity goals.
  • Actively reviews department/staff practices to ensure non-physician clinical staff’s compliance with established department, federal, state, and local agencies, HIPAA and regulatory authority’s standards of care, standards of practice, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance and reporting to all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to CLIA, CAP, MIPS.

Qualifications:

  • RN required with strong emphasis on orthopedic dermatology and cosmetic operation (BSN and master’s degree highly preferred).
  • Valid New Jersey Nursing Licensure
  • Strong experience in outpatient care and operating room practice
  • 3-5 years of nursing management experience with responsibility for managing people and practice.
  • Flexible leadership style with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical skillset.
  • Highly skilled communication abilities with proven interpersonal skills to collaborate with various professionals, including physicians, nurses, researchers, insurance representatives, equipment sales teams, etc.
  • Strong motivation to constantly seek self-improvement and an appreciation for constructive criticism.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role provides a generous salary (DOE) as well as comprehensive benefits including 20 days of annual PTO, paid holidays, and 401K with 50% employer match up to 6% in this role!

This role operates on a standardized schedule, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4PM – No weekends or late nights!
