Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a high-priority search for a full-time Research Associate II within Analytical Development to drive their innovative gene therapy research We are conducting this search on behalf of our client, an innovative Biotech company located in San Francisco, CA. Overview

The Research Associate will be working closely with Technical Operations and Research & Development departments to contribute to our clients immunotherapeutic cell and gene therapies as well as assay development. Additionally, the Research Associate will play a large part in driving new therapy products from research to the clinic through pre-clinical studies.



What you'll do

• • Learn specific platform assays to support process development and viral vector core.
  • Support method Qualifications.
  • Support transfer of assays to third parties.
  • Provide testing support for Research & Development groups.
  • Write Test Methods and SOPs.
  • Generate data for Regulatory filings.
  • Independently perform experiments, organize and analyze results.
  • Successfully execute and document laboratory procedures and experiments with great attention to detail.
