Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) is leading a search for a Director of Operations for our client, a leader in professional cultivation solutions for cannabis growers. This is a full-time role located in Denver, CO, and will be based in our client’s operational warehouse. We are seeking someone with 3+ years of operations management experience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing / production environment

As the Director of Operations, you will own the day to day operations of the business, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. The key functions of the job will be managing the operations team, supply chain, inventory control and production planning. You will oversee four direct reports that manage quality control, regulatory, order processing, logistics, purchasing, warehousing and manufacturing.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 3+ years of operations management experience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing / production environment
• Manage day to day operations of the company
• You are entrepreneurial focused and comfortable in a fast-paced and scaling atmosphere
• You have effective communication, analytical skills and experience with inventory control are essential for success
• You are intrinsically motivated, growth-minded and willing to go the extra mile to ensure success.
• You are extremely organized, demonstrate leadership skills and have excellent attention to detail
• Inventory Control/Production Planning
• Supply Chain management
• Hands on involvement with four direct reports
• Data driven decision making
• Collaborate on and execute strategic plans
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Fishbowl is beneficial

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary on this role is $75k + a bonus plan for 2021. There is also a full benefits package including: Medical: Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem, Dental: Northeast Delta Dental (both after 60 days of employment and employee pays 20% of plan and our client pays 80%), Life Insurance and Long Term Disability at no cost to the employee, and three weeks’ vacation plus paid holidays and sick time.
