Scion Technical Search has been engaged to conduct the search for a Software Integration Manager on behalf of our client who is on a mission to develop cutting edge, next gen technologies and products! With a focus on advanced data center hardware and solutions, our client is involved in research, product development, and operations for high-density, large scale computing operations as well as applications from their headquarters in Plano, Texas (20 minutes North of Dallas).

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Software Integration Manager is an essential role which is responsible for contributions related to software application (current and future) design, development, support, and maintenance in addition to the development and maintenance of the systems which support these applications.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Harnessing Agile based development methodologies, this role contributes to the creation and routine updates of project schedules.
·  Supporting software maintenance and development through integration management, testing, and QA processes.
· Development/implementation of application and platform requirements.
·  Maintaining, debugging, documenting application code, database structure, supporting scripts and libraries, etc.
·  Engages third-party providers to present and execute against defined scopes of work and acquisition of FTE based software development.

·   Overseeing full integration accuracy of all software and supporting code within the CI/CD based environment
· Operation and administration of the systems and services supporting the operation and development of  software.
·  Leading application review & identifying opportunities for potential improvements
·  Addressing reports of application bugs, exploits, and other abnormalities reported by internal and external users
·  
Provide multi-tier application support for all application users

 

REQUIREMENTS

·   3+ years of software integration experience; experience with Agile based development, git-based revision control, and continuous integration (CI) based automated deployment and testing methodologies.

·  Historic, proven ability in developing application and platform requirements as well as implementation specifications.

·  Intensive attention to detail and experience with balancing priorities and objectives with overlapping internal resources.

·  Experience w/use & development of SQL based applications as well as development of PHP based applications; Zend framework experience is a plus!

·  Experience developing, maintaining, debugging, and documenting application code, database structure, supporting scripts and libraries, and other application components.

·  Existing familiarity with Model View Controller (MVC) based application design methodology.

·  An infectious personality that engages others to achieve instant stakeholder buy-in.

·    Mastery of MS Office w/ability to type 60+ wpm.
