Overview:

The Client Service Manager will be responsible for the execution of our client service strategy to ensure client satisfaction, expansion of benefit programs and ultimate retention.  The Client Service Manager will report to the VP of Client Services and will work directly with the Field Service Representatives to coordinate benefits and service to our members.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supports entire book of business in a customer-focused, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day service relationship with the employer and broker-consultant.
  • Interfaces with service representatives, regionals, brokers, customers (and prospective customers) and client services staff in order to ensure that all entities receive/deliver necessary information in a complete and timely manner via various modes of communication (written, email, face-to-face, phone, other). 
  • Serves as a liaison between external customers and internal work teams and operational processes.
  • Prepares, gathers, and completes accurate client proposal submissions for Underwriting.
  • Schedules and host meetings with clients on site and at client locations, manage high volume of client communication, collect necessary information to analyze and review with management, provide succinct project updates as needed.
  • Processes daily work assignments, including ad-hoc and renewal requests.
  • Collaborates with team members to assist during high volume periods.
  • Manages work queue to identify problems to management.

 

About You:

  • You are extremely client centric and passionate about creating the best member experience possible.
  • You posses three or more years’ experience working in healthcare insurance, either in sales or health plan administration.
  • You hold strong analytical skills to analyze different benefits to provide the best options for members.
  • You hold a health insurance license in the state of California.
  • You have a strong understanding of Underwriting guidelines.
  • You are confident in effective process management.
  • You are an expert at conducting presentations and communicating effectively.
  • You are a self-starter, through and through. You can successfully work autonomously and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
