Scion Executive Search (www.scionexecutivesearch.com) is conducting a General Manager search for our established client in the HVAC industry. The General Manager will partner closely with the company’s executive leadership team to meet financial growth, profit, and customer retention goals. The organization seeks a visionary business leader skilled in driving organizational success through management activities including building and empowering high-performing staff.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
  • Implement company policies, core values, vision, and mission.
  • Lead the company through its next phase of growth and evolution.
  • Effectively build, retain, manage, and develop a high-performance team.
  • Ensure the team is performing at optimal levels.
  • Partner with leadership to identify, establish, and accomplish company goals.
  • Oversee the bottom line profitability of the company.
  • Attain sales goals by creating and executing programs, campaigns, and procedures.
  • Establish purchasing policies, manage inventory levels as well as vehicle fleet and equipment.
  • Supervise building and warehouse maintenance, security, and lease negotiations.
  • Responsible for quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and refine current marketing campaigns and execute impactful marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to develop the annual budget and ensure expenditures comply.
     
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • 10+ years of strong management and leadership expertise.
  • Proven track record in building, motivating, and retaining high-performance teams.
  • Comprehensive management skills: strategic planning, financial oversight, marketing, team leadership, and customer service.
  • Industry experience is not required.
  • The selected employee will undergo a drug screen and background check.
  • Valid Driver License and an acceptable driving record per company policy.
  • Must be computer literate and have good math skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
 
This exciting, full-time opportunity offers career growth potential and the ability to make an impact, helping people in the community. Starting compensation includes a competitive salary dependent on experience, plus a generous bonus. The benefit plan includes paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for the individual. There are 10 paid vacation days (amount increases with tenure) and seven paid holidays per year. There is also a Simple IRA with a 3% match, a company-provided vehicle, and cell phone, and more!
