Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for an Operations Specialist  to help lead our clients early-childhood education programs in The Dalles, Oregon. This position is for immediate direct hire and will work closely supervising staff throughout their Wasco county locations! If you are passionate about making an impact on the lives of children and their families while also skilled in making an operational impact with exceptional supervisory experience in the early education or childcare space, we would love to hear from you! 

Key Operations Responsibilities: 

• Supervision of staff in three different sites. 
• Ensure that organization is providing quality programs that meet standards of all stakeholders. 
• Fostering of community partnerships. 
• Planning, assigning and directing work. 
• Working with Senior leadership to contribute to strategic plans as they pertain to education programs throughout the region. 
• Develop, implement and enforce organizational policies. 
• Analyze process workflow and implement changes. 
• Facilitate employee appraisals. 
• Preparation and execution of action plans. 
• Forecast requirements to meet annual budgets. 
• Management of all organizational programs and functions. 

Requirements: 

• You hold a Bachelors degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education or a related field. 
• You have experience working within a  licensed childcare programs or early education setting.
• You hold two years supervisory experience. 
• You hold a current infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. 
• You have a passion to make an impact on the early education of children and a drive to help families in need. 
• You are open to travel within the region.

Starting Compensation & Benefits:   

This position offers a pay rate of up to 50,000 DOE as well as a robust benefits plan which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO,  sick leave and 401k benefits package.
