PPNNE is the largest reproductive health care and sexuality education provider and advocate in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Southern Maine. This incredible and rewarding full-time position is for immediate hire, and can operate from Headquarters in Colchester, Vermont or remotely from your location based in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine.

Position Overview:
The Vice President of Development, a skilled relationship builder, will lead a geographically dispersed, energetic, and experienced Development team of 15 to continually grow philanthropic resources to support the organization’s commitment to provide, promote, and protect access to reproductive health care and sexuality education so that all people can make voluntary choices regarding their reproductive and sexual health. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader who enjoys/thrives in a role that is both autonomous and highly collaborative, brings maturity and authenticity in engaging with supporters, and exhibits the highest level of trust, confidence, and professionalism. The Vice President of Development will champion the creation and integration of effective strategies for developing relationships with major gift prospects as well as the strategic creation and execution of other successful fundraising strategies. Their approach will include an analysis of the intersections of systemic racism and philanthropy and continually seek to dismantle systems of oppression embedded in the non-profit funding model. The Vice President of Development partners closely with the Board of Directors, routinely engaging with Trustees and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery on fundraising goals and objectives as well as directly solicit and close gifts from major donors and prospects. Reporting directly to the CEO of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, the Vice President of Development is an important member of the organization’s leadership team and provides strategic input into all aspects of PPNNE!
