Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been retained to conduct an immediate, direct hire search for a Construction Project Manager for our client in the healthcare industry. The administrative offices are located in Hillsboro, Oregon, and this exciting role will oversee construction sites mainly in Oregon and Washington. This stable and growing company has been in business for more than fifty years. What you’ll be doing:
  • Oversee staff members and subcontractors for projects in all construction phases.
  • Schedule and coordinate onsite activities for projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality specifications.
  • Act as the onsite representative at construction sites and on projects.
  • Verify the quality of work performed by subcontractors and field laborers.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, material suppliers, inspectors and other professionals to meet project timelines.
  • Partner with owners, contractors, and skilled trades to discuss and resolve matters as needed.
  • Ensure safe worksites by ensuring all staff and subcontractors are following appropriate safety codes and requirements.
  • Complete all required paperwork such as job site inspections, incident reports, RFI’s and safety checklists on time and accurately.
What you have to offer:
  • 3 to 5+ years of related experience.
  • Oregon and or Washington General Contractors License preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Contract management expertise is a requisite.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all types of commercial construction and skilled trades.
  • Ability to travel as required throughout the service areas.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects, anticipate issues, and plan ahead.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining appropriate budgets and timelines.
  • Familiarity working with subcontractors, engineers, and other related advisors.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Compensation and benefits:
 
This exciting, full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary dependent on experience, plus a generous benefits package. The benefit plan includes medical, dental, and vision insurance. There are 15 paid vacation days (amount increases with tenure) and seven paid holidays per year.
