Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct the search for a contract-to-hire Teacher for our client, a well-known education-based organization with an inspiring mission providing academic programming to gifted students in Bellevue, WA. What You Will Be Doing:
  • Implement instruction through whole group, small group, and differentiated learning.
  • Foster academic, social and emotional skills in a specialized academic environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Build student confidence and self-esteem as you get to know them.
  • Teach onsite with the option to go Distance Program Mode (DPM) as well as Hybrid Program Mode (HPM) if COVID gets worse.
  • Teach on multiple platforms such as Zoom, SeeSaw, Flipgrid, Loom and more.
  • Provide daily updates in LMS as well as individual check-ins with students.
 
What You Have to Offer:
  • A desire to make an impact and support students!
  • Three or more years successful lead teaching.
  • A degree in Elementary Education
  • BS/BA degree
  • Differentiating instruction- preferably in an independent school setting.
  •  Superb attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member with people and students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills as well as the desire to collaborate with colleagues!
  • Development and practice of cultural competence in teaching, research and other work!
 
Compensation & Additional Perks:
The ability to work for an organization with a phenomenal mission, a positive team-oriented work environment and pay of up to $24/hr. depending on experience.
