Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for a Payroll Specialist to lead  payroll operations for our early education client  in The Dalles, Oregon. This position is for immediate contract and will work closely with their finance department to maintain payroll and benefits operations! • Manage full cycle payroll including maintaining related records, as required.
• Reconcile & process time-sheet corrections, as required.
• Maintain and update payroll related procedures and documents.
• Work closely with staff to ensure payroll is properly set up and maintained.
• Assisting with audits.
   

• In depth experience with payroll processing.
• Knowledgeable in payroll systems.
• Ideal candidate has knowledge of Paycom and Kronos.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and function independently and as a team member.
• Ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of discretion and excellent judgment.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, databases, etc.).
