Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been retained to conduct the search for an Electrical Engineer for an expanding data center technology company in Dallas, TX. This exciting position reports to the COO. ***OPEN TO RELOCATING CANDIDATES and offering relocation assistance.

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovation in the emerging technology field of high-density liquid-cooled computing. This role will manage and coordinate the continued electrical and electronic development of existing and future products in this field, with a focus on R&D, reliability, and increasing volume production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems and components to the requirements and specifications of the project, product, or user
• Assisting the company with the identification of, engagement with, and shepherding the relationships between various third-party suppliers and vendors
• Working with both internal and external engineering resources to complete company objectives
• Designing and implementing procedure for the development, manufacturing, testing and quality control of components
• Assisting with the process of undergoing regulatory testing and approval of various products and systems
• Preparing various product drawings, reports, specifications, and criteria as required for both internal and external use
• Performing other tasks and undertaking additional roles and responsibilities as directed and required by company management.
• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 application support for both internal and external users

Qualifications:

• BA/MA in electrical engineering, equivalent degree, or 12 years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience in the design and development of electronic systems and component
• Ability to design holistic AC and DC power systems, components, and related system
• Ability to troubleshoot complicated issues requiring sophisticated diagnostic
• Expert level knowledge of harmonics, ripple, filtering, and related topic
• Experience with the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures relating to the testing of equipment and assurance of quality control
• Need someone that can take initiative 
• They need to be able to work in a fast paced setting
• The ability to work independently, as part of a team, or as the manager of multiple teams working towards simultaneous parallel or independent objective
• Effective written and oral communication skill

Location: Plano, TX (Suburb of Dallas). Job currently reports on-site 100%. ***OPEN TO RELOCATING CANDIDATES and offering relocation assistance.

Compensation:

Salary is based on experience and pays up to $90k based on experience, plus great benefits, and a wonderful working environment in a rapidly scaling company.
