Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Construction Superintendent for our client, an established general contracting company that specializes in tenant improvements and commercial interiors with an office located in Portland, OR! This exciting on-site, direct-hire opportunity will make a significant contribution to our client’s success within a wide array of fields and industries!
The Perks:

-Direct-hire, 40 hours a week with flexible schedule!
The Role:
-Develop preliminary schedule and assist PM with development of final schedule
-Job site set up
-Detailed knowledge of the project plans and submittals
-Schedule and coordinate ALL on-site construction related activities by knowing subcontractor scope of work, while ensuring a high quality of workmanship
-Job site cleanliness and safety
-Complete Daily Logs
-Complete and distribute 3-week schedules
-Draft RFI’s and send to PM for review and submittal.
-Filing electronic construction documents/photos to Procore. (Our client's project management tool)
-Assist PM with change orders and change order scope
The Requirements:

The Requirements:
-Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), a four-year degree in construction management or engineering is preferred
-Experience as a superintendent for a minimum of 3 years in commercial/residential construction
-Exceptional communication & polished interpersonal skills
-Excellent customer service skills
-Strong knowledge of industry standards
-Strong technical skillset in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Project, and project management software
