The division in which this Program Director role is positioned serves individuals and families in San Mateo County through its alcohol and substance abuse treatment services. This program provides services to all male clientele regardless of socioeconomic status, race, sexual orientation, education, or life experience.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the division, the Program Director will oversee all daily operations of the program to ensure the highest quality of client care. The Program Director will work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations and supervise a team of clinical counselors to promote a safe and enthusiastic environment for clients and employees alike. The Program Director position is a full time, on site, role that offers great benefits along with a spirited and caring team. Position Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Supervise direct service staff and manage productivity expectations, performance evaluations, compliance, staff morale, assignments, and trainings.

- Oversee compliance of California DHCS regulations, 42CFR, HIPAA, service delivery and documentation, Electronic Health Record, Quality Assurance and all Drug Medi-Cal regulations.
- Provide individual and group counseling (as needed), crisis intervention, supervise assessments, participate in treatment planning, and case management as needed.
- Provide BBS-qualifying individual and group supervision with team supervisees and any additional clinical staff as needed. Group supervision must be at least one time per week.
- Track, monitor and maintain overall program expectations and census as per contract requirements and program goals.
- Oversee provision of Matrix Intensive Outpatient Program as core structure of IOP Program.
- Responsible for weekly unit meetings to support implementations, training, and communication.
- Attend county Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) meetings.
- Support agency development and leadership as necessary.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff, county, and community.
- Perform other related duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional behavioral health care and substance abuse recovery services to individuals and families!
- Previous Leadership experience
- Licenses – Valid California BBS license as LCSW, LMFT or LPCC; minimum of two years post licensure experience required.
- Experience in Substance Use Treatment is Required
- Education – MA in approved BBS licensure qualifying degree. Completion of BBS-approved continuing education for supervision of MFT Interns, Associate PCCs, and Associate Clinical Social Workers.
- Current and valid California driver's license.
- Preferred Experience with Matrix Intensive Outpatient Program.
