Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionnonprofitsstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Non-Profit Budget Manager for a Berkeley, CA mission driven, nonprofit. This is a long-term contract (6 months) with the opportunity to go permanent. Our client is passionate about offering unparalleled legal and social services program guidance for those in need. - Nonprofit experience
- Familiar with funding and invoicing every month - to the precise exact detail

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maximizing and accounting of financial assets by establishing/maintaining financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems; including complete controllership of the day-to-day financial operations

- Assist the Director with the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department including overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Cash Flow Report
- Invoice Contracts

- Oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting; ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets throughout the grant/fund period; collate financial reporting materials for government, corporate, and foundation grants.

- Prepare and record the city and county grant invoices and collate the supporting documents for submission to the city and county.
