Scion Staffing's Technical Division is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for our amazing client in San Francisco, CA. We're very excited about this partnership as this team is taking on a wonderful mission: to make education enjoyable and personalized to improve the way K-6 students learn!
 

This position is a wonderful opportunity to join an environment that fosters learning and personal growth. This team does not expect you to be up to speed on their entire code base from day 1. They're seeking a Full Stack Engineer that's excited to learn and grow alongside other more senior engineers, getting hands-on learning experience on a variety of modern tools, languages and technologies.

What you will be doing:

• Excellent variety of tasks on day-to-day basis across Front and Backend, Infrastructure and/or Data Pipelines - no need to be an expert in all this, but strong desire to solve problems required!
• Contribute to technical direction of the product 
• Contribute high-quality code in a highly collaborative environment

What you will need:

• 1-2 years of professional Software Engineering experience
• This team is seeking talented engineers meaning that they are largely language agnostic, but here's a little more about their stack:
  • Frontend: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Backend: PHP (legacy) and Go (modern)
  • Cloud: AWS
• Ability to work onsite part-time Post-Covid required
• CS Degree from excellent university highly desired
