Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) is conducting an immediate, direct hire search for a Practice Administrator for our client in the healthcare industry. The office is located in Roseburg, Oregon, and this exciting role will be responsible for all activities occurring in the within the office, and ensuring staff is engaged and provides exemplary customer service to all who engage with the practice. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for oversight of all office staff, including customer loyalty, employee engagement, financials, marketing, staffing, facilities, patient count, office efficiencies and legal compliance.
  • Track and adjust as needed, office budget, staffing levels, schedules, work objectives, referrals from all sources and doctor efficiency.
  • Maintain the overall success of the office, identifying areas for growth, as well as challenges to be overcome; ascertain actionable plans for both.
  • Ensure compliance with practice policies and procedures and that employee behavior is in line with the practice’s core values; model and be an ambassador for those values.
  • Create a positive employee work environment through clear communication of expectations, plans of action, and performance reviews.
  • Take every opportunity to surprise and delight all clientele.
  • Ensure that all patient access standards are reliably met.
  • Diligently monitor work environment for safety and health, and that all work activities comply with the requirements of OSHA/OR-OSHA/WISHA.
  • Settle patient complaints when they arise.
  • Maintain a harassment-free work environment that is productive and team-oriented.
  • Make sure all financial goals are met, for example, EBITDA.
  • Steward the office’s financial business and sustain regular budgeting activities.
  • Liaise with marketing department to promote the company to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all legal requirements are followed, e.g., HIPAA, FDA.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and a minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare management is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of accounting and management principles, e.g., planning, organizing, leading, controlling, budgeting.
  • Exceptional communication skills and abilities in providing excellent customer service and fostering that environment among staff.
  • Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, OSHA, DEA.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities, threats and trends in the healthcare industry and implement actionable plans to ensure success.
  • Think creatively, “outside the box” and develop new methods of achieving goals.
  • Make effective and timely judgments in complex, ambiguous circumstances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
 
This exciting, full-time opportunity offers a base salary between $50,000 and $61,000 per year, plus bonus and a generous benefits package. The benefit plan includes medical, dental, and vision insurance. There are 15 paid vacation days (amount increases with tenure) and seven paid holidays per year.
