Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a high-priority search for a full-time Research Associate in Process Development to drive our clients cell therapy research program. We are conducting this search on behalf of our client, an innovative Biotech company focused on improving next level therapies to target serious diseases. This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to play an integral role in next level gene modification to drive therapeutic advancement targeting complex diseases in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
 
This opportunity is full-time, direct hire and is located onsite at our client's South San Francisco, CA location!
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive process development for cell therapy through the use of CAR-NK and CAR-T cells.
  • Perform transductions on primary cells through gene delivery methods.
  • Perform experiments on process development and raw material qualification.
  • Document SOP and maintain accurate lab records.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • You come with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Cellular Biology, or any related life science field.
  • You with 2-3 years applicable experience.
  • You are proficient in mammalian cell culture of adherent and suspension cells.
  • You have experience with gene delivery methods.
  • Experience with cell therapy manufacturing, bioreactors, or flow cytometry is a plus!
  • You have effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
