Scion Staffing is seeking a new Regional Recruitment Manager/Director to join our dynamic team and build out our Los Angeles, California recruiting division!

This is a new position and office for Scion in 2022. We have clients in the area now we are successfully staffing! This role will drive and oversee recruiting and staffing for our amazing clients in the area to include sourcing, recruiting and placing candidates and also building out a high performing recruiting team! You will be provided with resources, support, a strong base salary and continued opportunity for growth!

This role is 100% remote and based out of Los Angeles or the surrounding area. Come work with amazing national brands, nonprofits, universities and expanding businesses to find them talent!

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • A competitive base salary between $75,000-$85,000+, depending on experience, plus a very competitive uncapped commission/bonus structure. The average total compensation for a Scion Staffing Regional Recruitment Manager with three to five years of experience is $95,000-$125,000+. Earnings increase from there as you gain more experience and perform! There is so much room for growth!

WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking someone who resides in the Greater Los Angeles, CA area who has:

  • 3+ years of prior staffing/agency recruiting experience and proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment! Strong producer as a recruiter is required!
  • Management, Supervisory, Leadership experience in past or current roles and/or showcase ability to lead and manage!
  • Success at working in a remote recruiting environment while remaining competitive to exceeding growth numbers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A positive attitude and passion for recruiting and helping others.
  • Ability to lead a team and grow to be a high functioning recruitment lead for the region.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word/Resume creation and strong ability to learn Microsoft Outlook/365.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, technology, and prioritization skills.
  • Able to type/create email correspondence quickly while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience working with previous Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards and online networking resources.
  • In-depth knowledge or passion for learning current recruiting practices; an interest in learning local employment law, market compensation structures, and benefits best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Regional Recruitment Manager/Director is primarily responsible for the recruitment of temporary, temp to hire and direct hiring staffing in the Greater Los Angeles area. This means this role will engage with clients, source, screen, recruit and place talent for administrative, finance, marketing, operations, engineering, human resources, sales, customer service and other professional positions. Additionally, this role will build positive, long-term relationships on behalf of Scion with candidates and clients. This role will also build out a team of amazing recruiters to do the same.

Note: this role is separate from our partnership development team who brings in the job orders. This role's focus is on filling the new job orders and growing out a team to do the same!

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Implement and execute successful staffing strategies such as:
    • Conduct client intake to assess viability of prospective job opportunities.
    • Conduct thorough research on job requirements and qualifications, as well as work environment and organization culture.
    • Create attractive job postings and network and source with strong potential candidates.
    • Connect with a diverse cross-section of candidates through phone screens and in-person interviews.
    • Assess candidate qualifications by thoroughly vetting candidate backgrounds, experience, hard and soft skills, etc.
    • Utilize Bullhorn Applicant Tracking System (ATS) extensively to ensure active candidate tracking, maintain candidate and client notes, and schedule appointments.
    • Communicate regularly with clients and candidates.
    • Arrange candidate-client interviews by coordinating schedules; provide coaching and interview preparation for candidates.
    • Maintain on-going communication after placement and resolve any client and/or candidate issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity, and the highest level of customer service satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with the Scion Operations team to ensure proper follow-through on candidate onboarding, reference, and background checks.
  • Bring a passion for recruiting to fill the amazing jobs provided by our partnerships/sales team.
  • Work as a partner with our partnership development team in providing exceptional customer service to retain our clients.
  • Set recruiting billing goals for your region and drive success as the location grows.
