About the Role
The Recruiter supports the growth and success of the firm’s temporary and direct hire/contingent workforce. They will be assisting the team with full life-cycle recruiting; sourcing, interviewing, and presenting applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions for Scion Staffing clientele. This position requires exceptional hands-on account management skills, business development savvy, and innovative strategies for effective temporary talent recruitment.

What you will be doing
Candidate Recruitment, Retention and Placement
  • Work with a great team sourcing, interviewing and placing exceptional talent!
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Connect with a diverse cross-section of candidates through phone screens and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidate qualifications by thoroughly vetting candidate backgrounds, experience, hard and soft skills, etc.
  • Recruit qualified candidates for client projects, temporary assignments, and temporary-to-full time opportunities.
  • Arrange candidate-client interviews by coordinating schedules; provide coaching and interview preparation for candidates.
  • Maintain on-going communication after placement and resolve any client and/or candidate issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity, and the highest level of customer service satisfaction.
  • Leverage resources to recruit high-caliber candidates through online job boards, newsgroups, social network platforms, and other resources to build a strong sourcing pipeline and talent pool.
Relationship Development
  • Help develop and grow a client base by promoting our services, expertise, and core values for temporary, contract, interim, and/or direct hire staffing solutions when and where possible.
  • Participate in local trade association and networking events to increase the firm’s presence in the local business community.
  • Conduct client intake to assess viability of prospective job opportunities. Conduct thorough research on job requirements and qualifications, as well as work environment and organization culture.
  • Participate in educational opportunities, workshops, and seminars to increase knowledge on current industry and hiring trends.
Administrative
  • Utilize our ATS extensively to ensure active candidate tracking, maintain candidate and client notes, and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain email correspondence with clients, candidates, and internal staff through Outlook online.
  • Create thorough written candidate presentations for client review.
  • Generate job descriptions to post on Bullhorn and online job sites.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team and administrative staff to ensure proper follow-through on candidate onboarding, reference and background checks.

What you can bring to the team
  • A degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Recruiting and/or related experience and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in finance/accounting and/or nonprofit staffing is highly preferred!
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to recruit for multiple roles simultaneously without compromising quality or service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong intuition for culture fit while evaluating candidates.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. Prior experience working with Outlook Web App (OWA) is preferred.
  • Experience working with previous Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards and online networking resources. Experience working with Bullhorn ATS is a PLUS.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written correspondence. Must be comfortable presenting in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization.
  • Team player mentality yet able to work independently and learn adaptively.
  • In-depth knowledge or passion for learning current recruiting practices; prior exposure to human resources responsibilities including employment law, compensation structures, and benefits.
  • Strong desire to succeed; self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.

The Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive base salary of $45,000+ annually with a very rewarding commission structure you are immediately eligible for, additional quarterly and annual individual and team bonuses, up to 3 paid full-day community volunteer days, your birthday off paid, 2+ weeks of PTO, 11 paid holidays, additional sick time, 100% covered individual health benefits, 401k eligibility, a 9-5:30 workday (or alternate schedule 8:30am to 5:00pm), 80 hours of fully paid parental leave, monthly cell phone and internet stipend, work/life balance, an annual team retreat, an annual team day, and a super supportive and friendly team-environment.
