Scion Staffing is seeking a new recruiter to add to our successful and positive team in Northern California! This important position will lead searches in matching mission-driven candidates to our local and national nonprofit and corporate clients seeking mid-level to executive level talent.   • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for key nonprofit roles, and select corporate positions
  • Utilize cutting edge tools and HR processes to recruit exceptional talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to find optimum talent and build out stellar teams
  • Screen resumes, evaluate skill level and interview candidates for multiple requisitions
  • Unearth talent that is a match for our awesome clients unique office culture and environment
  • Become a knowledgeable Scion brand advocate for both our product and culture
  • Assisting clients to make smart strategic hiring choices
  • Drive the offer process – including extending offers and closing candidates
  • Improve upon existing practices and develop innovative strategy around finding top talent
  • Build pipelines of top talent that can be leveraged on demand as new positions emerge and needs shift


  • Demonstrated ability to use advanced techniques to assess and qualify candidates
  • Experienced in leveraging multiple sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of top talent
  • Passionate about candidate and client experience; you are self-aware, well-spoken on the phone and via video chat, eloquent in emails
  • Understanding of the impact of a highly-satisfied, excited staff
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ethics, and positivity!
  • A true passion for recruiting


  • 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting with experience/passion for the nonprofit sector
  • Tech savvy, with a strong working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, and or Bullhorn or similar recruitment technologies
  • Experience in retained search a plus
  • Experience recruiting for or working in the nonprofit sector highly preferred


This is full time remote opportunity with room for growth. It provides a strong base salary of $53k+ d.o.e., plus an exceptionally motivating and competitive commission structure, annual salary reviews, potential for bonuses, and a job, mission, and team you will thrive in! On-Target-Earnings in first year by meeting quota = $100-140k. There is no waiting period for commissions, they begin immediately and uncapped earning potential for beating quota, and increases in already competitive commissions.
