Scion Nonprofit Staffing, (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com), a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Recruiting Coordinator for immediate hire for our client, a national organization dedicated to providing positive and safe recreational programs for young people. This is a three-month contract and is located in Austin, TX.

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will bring your outgoing personality and knowledge of Recruiting procedures to assist a great team that is committed to building a welcoming and diverse environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assisting with all aspects of recruiting
• Conducting candidate screening and working with managers to get interviews scheduled
• Putting together job offers and coordinating all necessary hiring procedures
• Assisting in the onboarding process and first-day preparations
• Assisting full-time employees with elections and benefits through coordination with insurance brokers
• Assisting with payroll preparation
• Verifying new hire information such as time-off requests and direct deposit credentials and ensuring accuracy
• Performing basic administrative duties like filing paperwork and uploading documents

What You Have To Offer:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Recruiting Assistant
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Zoom
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Nonprofit experience is a plus!
• This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, the client is asking all workers to be fully vaccinated for COVID -19 by the date of hire. Compensation & Additional Details:

• Job Type: Contract - 3 Months
• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 am – 5 pm
• Location: Onsite in Austin, TX
