Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Payroll Operations Specialist for our client, an amazing Software Startup in San Francisco, California!

This Contract-to-Hire position offers the flexibility to work remotely and the opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding team! Work for a company that supports career advancement and a fun work environment!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect time sheets and other payroll records for processing  
• Support with weekly payroll processing through various software programs
• Process and calculate overtime and tax deductions
• Review and audit payroll files for accuracy
• Prepare reports for payroll reconciliation
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and entries
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal wage and hour laws
• Other payroll support duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a payroll, finance, or accounting capacity
• Exceptional attention to detail with superb organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency MS Office Suite, especially with Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
