Scion Nonprofit has been engaged to conduct a search for a contract to hire Nonprofit Contracts and Grants Associate for our client, an incredible New York City nonprofit organization, a national leader in innovative philanthropic solutions! 
 
This role is perfect for an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong desire to be a part of a progressive team within an organization making a true social impact! The Nonprofit Contracts and Grants Associate will work closely on projects centered around contract and grant agreement creation. This is a part-time, completely remote opportunity based out of Manhattan! 
 
This position with our Client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. As a cautionary measure, our Client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. Responsibilities 
  • Create consultant contracts and grant agreement letters to submit for Legal review 
  • Obtain countersigned agreements from grantees and contractors 
  • Submit payments in accordance with the schedule of the Finance department 
  • Issue and draft thank you letters to donors 
  • Manage incoming funding and add incoming opportunities to the database 
     
Requirements and Qualifications 
  • Desire to work with an organization involving social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • Experience in the non-profit space, 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 experience is a plus 
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce  
  • Demonstrated time management skills 
     
Compensation & Benefits: 
This position provides the opportunity to gain strong working experience at a progressive company in nonprofit, donor services. This is a contract opportunity that starts at $27.00 to $32.00 an hour (depending on experience) and provides health benefits, and an additional 401k plan for long-term employees.
