Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for a motivated Recruiter with a leading healthcare nonprofit in San Francisco, CA. This is a Direct-Hire opportunity offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a truly impactful team!

Job Duties

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment of top talent from employee referrals, job postings, networking and direct sourcing, screening, interviewing through offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Coordinate the recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel (excluding managerial levels and above)
  • Schedule and interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education or job skills; seeking best qualified candidate for open positions or future positions, making hiring recommendations when appropriate
  • Develop and sustain metrics and reports for the talent acquisition process
  • Implement new policies and procedures pertaining to the recruitment of top talent and branding of the organization
  • Maintain job postings on the company website as well as external sites
  • Build a collaborative relationship with internal departments to understand personnel needs
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure postings and applicant flow are current and to source passive candidates.
  • Compile reports from ATS database
  • Proactively contact candidates to keep them engaged, informed and organized
  • Coordinate background checks and pre-employment testing for prospective employees
  • Contact job applicants for job offers and acts as liaison between candidate and management team during job offer process
  • Schedule and conduct bi-weekly new hire orientation
  • Conduct exit interviews

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment in a healthcare setting preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience as a professional recruiter
  • Excellent sales and business acumen
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results while working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
  • Strong dedication to providing a high-level of customer service
  • Strong interpersonal effectiveness in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and employees
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to identify appropriate resolution for routine and non-routine issues
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Strong technology skills with a willingness to conquer new systems and software
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization;
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment, including MSWord, MSExcel and Outlook;
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Compensation

This opportunity offers a competitive salary of $75,000 to 85,000 annually as well as comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and paid holidays).
