Scion Staffing is seeking new recruitment staff to add to our award-winning and growing remote California team! We have openings for one new team member who wants to pursue an amazing career in the staffing and recruiting industry! The career path for this position is to develop into an incredible expert Recruiter, which we will train and coach you on!

During the first six months (on average) this position will first work and master recruiting processes and impactful talent acquisition activities including posting new jobs, screening candidates, sourcing and using online tools, scheduling talent, making offers, vetting prospective candidates, onboarding new employees and learning how to provide exceptional service to our clients and recruit.

Once successful and knowledgeable in the Scion core recruiting tasks and processes you will move to becoming a Scion Staffing Recruiter and work with incredible amazing national brands, nonprofits, universities and expanding businesses to find them talent!

We are seeking applicants who reside in California who:

  • Want to find and develop a career in staffing and recruiting industry!
  • Are highly motivated, hard-working, coachable, eager to learn, and results oriented!
  • Have at least 1+ year of administrative, HR, Recruiting, customer service, or sales experience.
  • Experience with MS Word and ability to work with Office 365.
  • Strong with business technology and learning online recruiting tools.

These positions are for immediate hire, are fully remote and can reside and work in either Northern or Southern California. However, applicants who reside in other parts of California will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helping to recruit, source, and screen exceptional talent!
  • Learn and master the recruiting and placement life-cycle.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our candidates, clients and internal team.
  • Work collaboratively with our award-winning recruiting team.
  • Manage and support candidates through the interview and onboarding process.
  • Draft position announcements and create job postings.
  • Leveraging various job boards, networking sites and source new candidates for our open requisitions.
  • Screen and identify talented candidates for open requisitions.
  • Schedule and support talent throughout the interview process.  
  • Write and create impactful candidate profiles for presentation to clients.
  • Conduct candidate reference checks.
  • Update relevant candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System. (Bullhorn)
  • Help lead other projects, as needed.
  • Learn recruiting best practices as to interviewing, sourcing, client intake meetings, filling jobs, and how to be a successful and well-rounded recruiter.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of successful experience within an administrative support role OR customer service experience in retail or restaurant with a high degree of professionalism and great customer service and sales experience! Fast paced environments are needed!
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Must have the maturity to maintain confidential and sensitive employee information.
  • Must be self-motivated, positive, work independently and with a team.
  • A desire to have fun at work and be motivated by results!

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • This positions compensation grows as you learn recruiting and level up! This role starts as a Recruiting Coordinator with a starting base salary of $50,000 (DOE), plus company bonus and many other perks and benefits. After six months (on average) this role will transition to Recruiter where you will make additional commissions that average 30k annually in addition to your base salary. The average total compensation for a Scion Staffing recruiter with one year of experience is $80,000. Earnings increase from there as you gain more experience and perform! There is tons of room for growth!
