Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Annual Fund and Events Manager for an amazing Nonprofit educational institution for children in preschool through eighth grade! This is an exciting Full-Time, Direct-Hire opportunity located onsite in San Francisco, CA!

As the Annual Fund and Events Manager, you will work closely with the Advancement Associate and will oversee all fundraising, cultivation, and recognition activities!


  • Assist in design and implementation of a comprehensive Annual Giving campaign
  • Strengthen the fundraising program with targeted solicitations
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage volunteer leadership to accomplish annual fund fundraising goals
  • Work to identify major donor prospects and collaborate on solicitation strategies
  • Set communications schedule and maintain website presence
  • Coordinate all solicitation efforts, including writing letters, printing collateral materials, reminders, and organizing volunteer training
  • Coordinate all stewardship efforts, including writing acknowledgment letters and following up
  • Produce annual giving brochures, publications, and communications
  • Create ongoing reports to track fundraising efforts
  • Organize special events such as the annual benefit and community celebration, Annual Fund Leadership Dinner, alumni stewardship events, Volunteer Appreciation, Country Fair, and other events
  • Maintain alumni website and alumni social media


  • 3+ years of Nonprofit Fundraising experience
  • 2+ years of Event Planning experience 
  • 2+ years of Donor Database Software experience 
  • 2+ years of Google Doc experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, AD&D Coverage, Long-Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, $500 wellness stipend, and 403(b) Retirement Benefits with a 5% employee contribution.
