Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a high-priority search for a contract Scientific Recruiter on behalf of our client, an innovative Biotech company located in San Francisco, CA. If you are an experienced staffing professional with a passion for science and advancing therapies this is the position for you!

Overview:
Reporting to the Head of People, and working with leadership across the company, the Recruiter will work to contribute to our client company’s success by providing support which enables a best-in-class operation primed for rapid growth within their Scientific team.

About You:
  • You are passionate about people and innovative sciences. You have deep experience as an HR professional, preferably with experience scaling organization growth at a fast-paced corporation or startup.
  • You are an expert communicator. You effectively connect and communicate with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
  • You are a self-starter, through and through. You can successfully work autonomously and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • You’re a strong (and quick) critical thinker. You can quickly understand complex concepts and translate them into easily understood information.
  • You’re a team player. You have a track record of engaging, and working closely, with cross-functional teams to keep projects moving forward as smoothly as possible.
  • You sweat the small stuff. You have strong attention to detail and maintain high standards for the quality of the work you produce!

What You’ll Do:
  • Coordinating recruitment and hiring processes to accommodate rapid growth.
  • Sourcing candidates, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and tracking all applicants.
  • Welcoming and onboarding new employees.
  • Assisting Hiring Managers to meet organizational needs.
  • Playing an integral role in shaping and establishing our client’s internal company culture!

Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers up to $33/hr. (at 25-30 hours a week) per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.
