Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com), has been engaged to search for a Credentialing Specialist, to begin working immediately. Our client is a healthcare-related nonprofit located in Hillsboro, Oregon. This will be a three to six-month project to assist the team with an audit. This job will play an integral role in helping the credentialing team by filling in the gap and streamlining their credentialing process. Responsibilities:
 
  • Perform credentialing, privileging, and re-credentialing of licensed independent practitioners and other licensed staff.
  • Ensure credentialing process for insurers and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment/reassignment of benefits is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Collect supporting documentation for privileging requests.
  • Coordinate with teaching institutions to credential residents enrolled in programs.
  • Process and prepare credentialing applications and files for Medical Director and Board of Directors to review at appointment and reappointment.
  • Maintain confidential credentialing files and provider database.
  • Track and notify providers when updated information is needed, e.g. license, registration, certification, CME, etc.
     
Requirements:
 
  • One year of credentialing experience.
  • Positive attitude and hunger to do real work and make a difference.
  • Proven ability using, and quickly learning various databases and software programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working and learn quickly while still paying attention to detail.
     
Compensation:

This position offers the ability to work for an organization with a phenomenal mission, a positive team-oriented work environment, and a competitive hourly pay rate of up to $21.00 depending on experience! Additionally, this position comes with health, dental, and retirement benefits while on contract!
