Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for a contract Grants Management Specialist to manage grant proposals for our client, an incredible artistic education nonprofit organization located in Peoria, IL! My client’s mission is to provide support and partnership to the community around them through educational programs related to the arts! This part time position has hybrid remote opportunity, and flexible working hours!
 
Position Overview:
The Grants Management Specialist will work with the Program Specialist to coordinate the writing and submission of grants, grant budgets, and ensure proper compliance with State and Federal grant regulations.
 
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Implements compliance with grantmaking workflows.
  • Maintains financial records for local, regional, and federal grants.
  • Performs accounting functions for grants such as reporting and reimbursement submittals.
  • Develops and maintains program budgets as they pertain to grants.
  • Acts as point of contact for correspondence with representatives regarding grant status.

What You Have to Offer:
  • You come with a Bachelor’s degree and relevant grant management experience.
  • You have proven grant budget management and accounting skills.
  • You have proficiency with grant management software.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft programs.

Perks & Compensation:
This position offers a competitive pay rate of $21.75/hr. in addition to healthcare benefits!
